Awards of Distinction
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. recognizes outstanding contributions of its members and chapters through a distinguished awards program administered at Grand Chapter meetings. These awards honor achievement in community service, leadership, professional accomplishment, and fraternal dedication.
Chapters and provinces may petition for awards on behalf of deserving brothers by submitting documentation to International Headquarters.
Petition Process
Identify the Award
Review the award categories and determine which best fits the nominee's contributions and achievements.
Prepare Documentation
Compile supporting materials including service records, achievements, letters of recommendation, and chapter endorsement.
Submit to IHQ
Submit the completed petition and supporting documentation to International Headquarters by the posted deadline.
Review & Selection
Petitions are reviewed by the appropriate committee. Award recipients are announced at Grand Chapter.
